Nurturing our kids in nature with a friendly, welcoming and comfortable class for parents and children.

Our classes run for 75 minutes, they open with a welcome circle and we begin with an activity using natures resources outside in nature, followed by free play culminating in time for coffee, cake and chat.

We love activities using nature as our props whether this is making a paintbrush from sticks and leaves, creating wind art with sticks and pine cones or making binoculars to look at the birds in the trees. Kids love playing with these natural resources and getting messy in the process, so why not let us deal with the messy tidy up so you don’t have to.

We also ensure we have some time for free play where the kids can enjoy the toys, practice their social skills and you can have a well earned coffee and chat with other like minded parents.

When – 10.00 – 11.15 on Wednesdays and Thursdays

Where – Down the garden path in North Ascot (Click for Google Maps Location)

Who – babies to pre-schoolers (0-5) and parents/carers

What – a baby and toddler class using nature for the activities and allowing parents to have some time to connect with other parents

Have you ever come away from an interaction feeling happy, validated, and motivated for the day or week? This is how I want you to feel leaving a Nurture Kids class.

At Nurture Kids we provide a safe and friendly environment for you and your child to embrace nature whilst being relaxed and comfortable.

I want us to help, encourage and support one another. Since becoming a mum I’ve been fascinated by matrescence and how women change as soon as we get pregnant. I find the psychology behind kids behaviour so intriguing and the more I learn the more I understand why they behave the way they do, they are learning and growing all the time, and I want to be the best role model I can be for my children.

Different parenting techniques seem to be everywhere right now, you can’t go online without seeing more hints and tips and it can feel massively overwhelming. There’s so much to take in and all we want to do is do it ‘right’! I find chatting and sharing about this so beneficial and I wish I had someone or somewhere who could have put me in the direction of all the resources I have access to now from Instagram accounts to podcasts.

About Me

Hi, I’m Zara. I’m a mum of two boys. They have definitely changed my life and made me reassess my thoughts, feelings and priorities. This I have now learned is called matresence. I love being a mum, and I also love being with other people, especially mums. I enjoy being outside (though I’m a fair weather outsider, which is always a surprise to people since I’m Scottish!). My kids and I always have better days when we’ve done something outside in the fresh air and in combining all this has led me down the Nurture Kids path.
